You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.
I mend the bridges that I probably should let burn, and the ones worth mending, I let go up in flames.
Once upon a time, there was a cell phone.
And on that cell phone were a handful of drafts. Drafts of text messages that would never be read, drafts of dreams that would never come true. Things like hey, what’s up? and Are you going to this or that next weekend? and Just fyi, I like you. A lot.
And these drafts were written by a girl. A shy girl, who over the course of the past years had realized that she was too scared, too self-conscious, too doubtful, too awkward, and way too shy to ever flirt with a guy she liked.
And of course, there was a guy in mind. Every draft was addressed to the same person, that one unforgettable boy who she could not forget despite all her better judgement. She couldn’t get the nerve to talk to him, but she couldn’t stop wishing she could.
Well, once upon a time, this girl realized something.
The guy was never going to come to her. She could write him little love letters to be swept to the dusty corners of the anonymous internet, she could save drafts of all the things she ever wanted to say in a folder on her phone, but there was only one way to ever find out if she really did have a chance.
She pressed send.
Work like you don’t need money, love like you’ve never been hurt, and dance like no one’s watching.
Man should forget his anger before he lies down to sleep.
We don’t need to be anything or anyone. We can just be us.
Anyone who betrays me, I never forget.
Value shouldn’t be measured in likes, comments, and follower count.
Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.
I have to ask you a question. It’s a good one so think about it. If two people love each other, but they just can’t seem to get it together, when do you get to that point of enough is enough?
Say what you want do what you feel becuase those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
